Hello,
I have an Apple CD ROM 150. And I like to use it with my PC with a Future
Domain TMC-1680 SCSI-Controller.
The CD-ROM 150 is a Sony CDU-8002, and during the startup the controller shows
me the name. But the device driver FDCD.SYS doesn't find a CDROM. In the manual
of the Future Domain Controller is a listing with some compatible CDROMS. But
the CDU-8002 is not on the list.
Do I need a special device driver? Is something like that available?
TIA and best wishes
Gerhard
PS: Sorry for my bad english…
The CDU-8002 isn't supported by many CD-ROM drivers.
You can get the new Future Domain ASPI driver called Power SCSI from their BBS,
then the Trantor SCSIworks! package for $89 that contains, among many other
pieces of software, ASPI CD-ROM drivers that support the CD-ROM 150 drive on
the PC.
