Hello all. I just purchased a Toshiba 3401 internal CD-ROM and I'm trying to find some information on what it takes to connect it to a PAS16 sound card. The way I understand it, PAS16 already has a SCSI interface and I don't need to buy a separate one. But what about a separate audio cable? Do I need that? Or does the 50 pin SCSI cable include audio in from the drive to the card? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Pat, You will have to contact Media Vision to purchase the cables and software to connect your CD-ROM to the PAS16. Separate cables are required for SCSI and audio. A specific device driver is also required for the system to talk to the CD-ROM. I have a PAS16 with an older Toshiba CD-ROM attached, and it works fine. Good luck, -=Rob=-

Thanks for the reply, Rob. I ordered the cable/driver kit from MediaVision today. They said it'd be 7-10 days before it would get here.
