#Mitsumi/Kodak read probl
3 messages in this thread
Hallo dear helpers
I am using a CD-ROM drive MITSUMI CRMC–LU005S. No problems with audio and
normal data. But it just would not read KODAK photos from demo disk with
softsare on the same disk. It seems as if the drive had problems reading, and
after some time it reports a system error. However photo nr 1 can be read,
although terribly slowly.
My system is a 468/33 with 8MB.

Can anybody give me a hint as to what the problem might be and what I could do
about it?
Thanks a lot

Alex,
Joel White is our online technical person. His CIS ID is 71333,727. You might
get in touch with him. He should be able to help you sort your problem out.
It sounds like there is a driver or controller card problem, but I am not
familiar with all of the drive/driver/controller card combinations for Photo CD
compatibility.
You also can call the Kodak Customer Assistance Center at 800-242-2424, ext.
53, and they will work with you in realtime.

Hi Paul
Thank you very much for the hint.
I also got the advice not to load the driver into high mem. I shall do that and
then,
if I have no success, contact Joel White.
