High end video (VISTA resolution) is 756 x 486. Targa is 512 x 486.
AThe overscan is usually figured at 10%, which is what the safe-frame shows
in 3DS.

O.K. Thanks. I thought the safe frame was for the smaller TV's. What do they
call that, Marque' or something like that? How much does a small picture TV
crop from a normal TV? And I thought a TV screen displayed 410 lines… or
thereabouts (getting old is not as bad as learning 62 different software
packages on DOS when it comes to losing memory… <grin>).

Figure 486 lines, minus 10% overscan for about 438 lines visible.
And Safe Frame is about the same for all TVs.
