Congrats! Just read your email and had to go downstairs to the old time machine and rewind RUSH's show from last night. Looked good! Did you render your animations in segments or in one long shot? 3600 fields is a lot of HD space.

Thanks for the compliment! It was done in 6 segments, the last one only used Video Post (for the stars). I have a 1 Gig drive, and was able to get all the TGA's onto it, thankfully. I just made an .IFL with the great help of MAKEIFL.EXE, to cover all the files. However, I ran into a problem/bug with the DISK TO VTR part using this file. I got error messages when I chose this .IFL, so I just split it up into 2 IFL's and did them sequentially. Has anyone else run into this with a large .IFL? Thanks again!

Yup. There was a problem with an earlier version of 3DS that only allowed less-than-9999 frames for IFL files. I _thought_ we fixed that for 2.01 or 2.01A, but it might've just been fixed for 3.0. Which version are you using? – G

I was using 2.01A on a 66MZH VL, 32MB Ram, etc etc. It's an easy enough work around, though. Just have to remember to change the HEADS and TAILS since it's split up over 2 .IFL's.
