TO ANYONE INTERESTED IN THE KANSAS CITY 3D STUDIO USER'S GROUP: We are pleased to announce the formation of the Kansas City 3D Studio User's Group. Our first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, April 20th, at 7 pm. The location is Jim Brown and Associates, 1420 Kansas Avenue, downtown Kansas City. Please RSVP so that we have enough chairs. Our vision of the Kansas City 3DS User's Group is to meet monthly for discussion, problem solving, news announcements, and screening of 3DS video clips (yours are welcome). We want to create a place where local 3D Studio users can network and exchange information. Events planned include demonstrations of new Autodesk 3D products, open houses at 3D Studio shops, vendor demonstrations (boards, video gear, IPAS routines, etc.), guest lectures by nationally known 3D Studio users, a 3D-oriented BBS, a graphics library (periodicals and books) a directory of Kansas City area animators, and special promotions and group purchases.
