Hi Jonas, I know you guys have been EXTREMELY busy lately but… I posted a message about a week ago asking for help with mapping coordinates in an AXP. Here it is again in a nutshell; is it possible to assign a material requiring material mapping to an object generated inside an AXP? I know I can ask the user to map the material to the stand-in object(s) but how do I translate this to a generated object that might be very different in shape to the stand-ins? Are there any short cuts to this? Thanks, Danny… BTW, Is it me, or is there much less traffic here than usual?

Danny, I think that there's much less traffic here. There is a list of open questions that I've been compiling. As you all know there are still discrepencies between what you *might* expect and what you get with IPAS3. I haven't been able to answer these open questions myself. (i don't have access to the source code and to the history of implementation decisions). Grant who was the primary programmer with the IPAS3 port has new responsibilities. QA is also off QA'ing other products. I will continue to help keep the open issues for IPAS3 visible within Autodesk and I will aid in getting the solutions to you. Please don't get discouraged and please continue to post your frustrations, questions, findings here or in #14. I'll do what I can for all of you. jonas[adesk]
