Questions for you folks who made it to NAB: Did anyone see DMI's Broadcaster 32 board (were they there?). And if so, how does it compare to the PAR, capture- and output-wise? My main interest is in grabbing from component video to map moving video into 3-D animations. And maybe some non-linear editing for my own (non-commercial) projects. And also.. any news from Centaur? Thanx.

Wish I could say I was blown away when I went by their booth, but the best I saw was a group of peopl hunched around a gutted 4000 in one corner, and a mic'd announcer asking people to 'come back in half an hour' if they wanted to see something….. At least the PAR has been shipping for awhile. Unfortunately, I think even the video Flyer won't cut it for a job one of my client's needs….Oh well. Keep On Toastin' Erik Flom

Jeff, I talked to someone who went to the Creative meeting on Sunday evening and he said that they tried to show DMI, but it crashed several times and they were trying to blame C=, etc. I didn't see them on the floor. Sorry. Matt

thanks for the updates… looks like for my needs the DMI board is prettymuch vapor at this point.
