I have an A2000 with 1 meg chip and 2 meg fast on a 2091 with a 245 meg hd. I
am interested in the most economical upgrade path to a Toaster that will
eliminate flicker and give me the speed and memory I need. I would also like to
make the Amiga & Bridgeboard clients on a Novel LAN. Video I would produce
would be for training Windows/LAN users so I need to capture and enlarge
subsections of VGA screens. Is there anywhere I can get a 486 Bridgeboard
still? What would you suggest ?

You might be able to get a 386 Bridgeboard (BB) upgraded to a 486 from

I understand that Golden Vortex sells a 486 emulator board.
('Bridgeboard' is a Commodore trademark.)
A copy of AmigaWorld may contain ads for one or both companies. 386
BB's may be in short supply since Commodore dumped them on the market.
Some of the mailorder outfits may have them.

IMHO your best off going with atleast an A4000/030 w/ VT4000 config.
Not sure if 486 BB's will multi-task with the Toaster, not really sure if
the BB is necissary for your application.
You could just use a PC screen capture utility to grab all the screens you
need, then move them over to the Toaster via Ethernet.
