Does anyone know the manufacturer of the "PAR" (Personal Animation Recorder)
and where I could read any articles of this new extraordinary piece of
equipment, as well as distributers?

The PAR is manufactured by DPS (Digital Processing Systems). As far as I know
there have been no articles written about this amazing peice of hardware. I
have been using it for about five months and have helped to kick it around some
in the Beta stage. If you want more info contact Greg Pyros (he should be
lurking around here somewhere!) 🙂

Thanks for the specifics. I knew the name (PAR) but not the manufacturer. Now I
know it can be "in the mail" with a quick call to Greg.
Unfortunately, I'm in the research stage, hoping to buy later in the year.

We have lots of stuff to fax just call and ask. As for dealers also call and
give us your zip code and we can refer you. There have been some reviews but
is you scan the back messages you will prolly get a better idea of the product.
BTW, there is a comprehensive review of all DDR's coming in the May A/V video.
