Dale, I'm running Envoy (4 machines) with LANRovers. Any time I try to parent out of a directory (or choose another device) while its still reading the directory, I get a task failure for that volume. If I'm patient and let the drive finish reading the directory, all is fine. But I am NOT patient and this is a problem. My local dealer doesn't experience this problem but they are using commodore ethernet cards. Do I have something set wrong or is this how it is. I'm a network novice, so be gentle. Thanks, Mark C.

I need to talk to ASDG to get the whole story, but one of my customers discovered that they had to use a particular driver (ASDG includes more than one). What version of Envoy are you using? Where did you buy it from? — Dale L. Larson, Intangible Assets Manufacturing — INTERNET:dale@iam.com

Are you having those problems with Dopus v4.11? If so, I can tell you that this happens on my A4000/040 (running 3.1 Beta) as well, though it doesn't happen on my A3000/040 running 2.1 Ottmar Roehrig from Hamburg, Germany

Ottmar, I don't have Opus so I can't answer that, but basically it happens with every piece of software I own (as long as its dealing with a non-local device ). Mark C.
