#Wanted 040 for A3000

Wanted:
1) A3000 040 accelerator card preferably with some RAM.
2) A3000 KS ROM chips.
If you have one or know of one that is for sale, please let me know at

Btw, I am NOT looking for a 040 card from a A4000 as these will not fit in
A3000s nor do they have the speed I'd like.

The new A3430 cards (A4000/40 daughterboards) *do* fit in an A3000. DOn't know
if they *work*, though. No one here has ROMs…yet. 🙂

I have been told that you have to do a slight modification but then again
they never actually tried it.
The `real' reason why I would rather get a 3rd party accel instead of the
A3430 is because they are all faster than the A3430. If I can't find one
soon I `may' buy a A3430 from someone upgrading. This all depends on the
price and performance of the NEW 3rd party accels from GVP, ect…
I should have bought the chips when they were readily available, but at
least I know of someone who has a set. Now all I need is a accelerator.
