I was trying out pack3ds last night and I'm not sure what is meant by pkzip is in your path ? I when to c:\3ds3>pack3ds.exe typed the file name, -i -r and it listed the files that made up the file but didn,t make a zip. I have pkzip.exe in my 3ds3 directory and in it,s own directory. What am I missing ? I think this will be a very valuable tool. -Mike-

Having PKZIP.exe in your path allows PACK3DS to use it in order to ZIP up the 3DS file and materials. I'm not sure why it failed but you really don't need PACK3DS anymore if you have Release 3. The Archive command with 3D Studio will do what you need. Goodluck, Jamie
