I would like to be able to select objects using the Materials / Show comand. If this is already possible please let me know. Also are there any restrictions on the viewpoint sample meshes on the world creating tool kit? Thank You

Surface/Materials/Show selects faces of any given material. If all the faces in an object are made of that material, the whole object is selected. There are ZERO restrictions on all of the .3ds files on the WCTK. – G

When I select objects with the material / show command the objects apear to be selected; however, when I try to change the color of the selected objects 3D studio reports none selected. Does It sound like I do not have something set properly? What I would like to do is to change all objects with a specific material to the same color. Thank You. Richard Petersen

Use Assign/Face (selected) instead of Assign/Object (selected). – G

To clarify, there are zero restrictions on how an artist can use the .3ds files and texture maps on the WCTK in their work. Of course, reselling those files doesn't fall into that category. – G
