#SIGGRAPH ? CountingHands
7 messages in this thread
Hey, who out there is going to SIGGRAPH this year in Florida? Raise your hands
and keep 'em up so I can count!
If anyone is going, or has been before, when do I get information on the event
from those folks in Chicago? I sent them a letter. HELP!
Glen
Glen,
We plan to be at Siggraph in a big way. Not necessarily a big booth but
definitely a big announcement. We are meeting with some Orlando-based event
coordinator types next week to put together a great show. I hope to see all of
you there. Please keep us posted if you're planning to attend so that we can
keep you posted about what we're planning, where and when.
See you in FL.
Don
Don, Sounds great! Can't wait to meet you there!
Hey, can you comment on the differences between the SGI INDY hardware…24bit
vs. the Indigo. I have used some SGI systems, but I never got into the
hardware. I want to run 3D (Start with baby-SoftImage, and build up). The
Indigo seems to use everything from an R3000 up to the R4400. They talk about
having 128K Polygons…64K Mesh….what is all of that?
..Don't worry, I still want my raptor…
Just send me a killer long note!!!!
Also, I am still waiting on any mailings for our upstairs folk!
Thanks,
Glen Miller

Ney, since I am already in FL I will be sure to be at SIGGRAPH in Orlando.
Only a 2 hour drive from Tampa.

T.D.T.,
Hey, we all need to find a spot and time to meet and get together for a few
minutes anyway, at SIGGRAPH! The entire LW/compuserve user group meeting!
YEA!
I guess after we get info, we, if anyone is up to it, can plan a little
something!
