Yes: I've been in offshre seismic for about 15 years. I'm actually an Astrophysicist turned Surveyor, but you do't work alongside snake wrestlers and grease pencil wavers for that long without picking up something. Rob

Hi, Greg– Welcome to the forum/section! I am interested in geophysics in an amateur way. We have kicked around the source of the earth's magnetic field and similar topics here from time to time, and there are more pros who have turned up here than you have heard from as yet. Tell us something about your specific interests, and it may draw some of the others out. –Doug
