#IPAS COSTS
8 messages in this thread
Hi all.
I will most likely need Digimation's Bubbles Ipas & Newtech's Flock Ipas for a
TV series I'm working on.
Does anyone have a price for these and info on how to get them in Australia?
Thanks. Glenn.
Hi Glenn,
I'm not affiliated with either company, but have both of these routines. The US
pricing for Bubble is $50 and $100 for flock. Both are pretty decent with some
limitations. BTW, it's N.W. Tech Systems for the Flock.axp, which is created by
Blackbox. Both are also available from Schriber Instruments and others. As far
as in Australia, beats me ! <g> Good Luck. If you need their numbers or any
feedback on using them, E-Mail me.
Regards,
BILL
Thanks for the info on the IPAS stuff. The price sounds about right. gLENN.
Hi Glenn,
There is a place in Brisbane at West End (I think it's called Volume 3) Susan
from MultiCAD has the phone number..He has the most YOST IPAS and think he has
or is getting the bubble routines.
Anyway Digimation's ph number 800-854-4496
Tech support/Fax 504-785-2940
They have the bubble's routine and a sparkle (leaves sparkles behind moving
objects (particule stuff) sounds good & THE PRICE is good!
Hope it helps

Thanks for the info Gary, I've got bubbles and flock on thier way to me as we
speak. Glenn
Can you let me know what you think? I looked at the YOST IPAS and I must say
they have the worst doc's I ever seen….Lets pay $$$$$$$ and put really
uninformative documentation with them. <G> says the new version 3 YOST IPAS
will have doc the same as 3ds…wait and C

Gary,

The colder the better buddy.
I'm curious about the quality of the docs too. It seems that IPAS docs are
designed to introduce you to the rudimentary ideas and the rest is up to you.
Talk about expriments. Boy! I've put away DAYS just with spurt! Maybe I should
upload some of the models I've played with that use spurt. I've come up with
some pretty kooky effects.
BTW, did you get/download that bundle of .3DS's I sent you in answer to your
(lofter-twist,ball-chase,type-glow..etc) questions? If not, I probably still
have them about somewhere.
Talk later..

Hey Glenn! & Greetings from the warm end of the country

more?

GH>Put me down for the first copy the of your new book "Deciphering IPAS
DOC's"…I hear <G> is getting new doc's for the IPAS3 which are like the 3DS
docs..

GH>No I didn't, but I'm still interested…and I'm still interested in
paying..bundel it with a "step by step" exercise on each one of the YOST IPAS
routines (spurt, flare etc)…and I'll get my check book out..YES I'M SERIOUS
