Marion thanks a bunch for the info on Lantasic. Actually I just bought the
Lantastic starter kit and plan to install it soon. I was completly unaware
that it was possible to connect my PowerPC Mac to the network, i am really
excited that now I can. Once again thanks. I will let you know how it works

Note that the dedicated gateway PC which bridges the LANtastic and
AppleTalk/EtherTalk networks needn't be a 386, let alone a 486! If you have an
old 286 with 2MB RAM and a monochrome display card in a closet somewhere that
you've never gotten around to donating to a school or church, here's a good use
for it. 🙂
