Not only did I see 100% Micron computers at the NAB booth, but Micron uses the
fact that Autodesk uses their machines in all their shows a part of their
(Micron's) advertising. Since the NAB booth showed strictly 3D Studio and
Animator Pro, (not CAD software), I'm surprised you're not aware of the
Autodesk-Micron link. I suspect there's some reason for this partnership.
Hopefully it's due in part to the fact that Micron makes a good, fast PC. We
will be upgrading our PC soon abnd would like to "buy local." If Autodesk
endorses Micron, that's an extra vote of confidence as far as we are concerned.

Couldn't get anyone to state anything other than what I found out and posted in
the response to Evan on this thread, but there may be more. The configuration
information was provided by a person who sets up the hardware for shows, by the
way.
Probably I just don't know enough about this to be informative!
