#3DS and Diamond Viper

I am about to get Animation Pro and 3DS. But before I do, can you tell me if
they work with the Diamond Viper video card (I've had problems with other DOS
programs).
I got a 3ds demo disk from my local dealer, but it does not work properly. The
image is "broken up", and I have the VESA driver installed.
Any ideas?

I have been running 3ds on a Diamond Viper VLB 2MB for about a year with no
problems. In fact, the drivers with release 3 work perfectly at all resolutions
in all program modules.
I have never had that before !
You will have to run VESA for Animator Pro, which is easy to do.

I believe the Viper docs mention that compatibility problems might stem from
the machine on which you've installed the viper. Make sure it's in the right
slot, etc.
As far as 3DS itself, the very recent PCI Viper was not supported when 3DS was
released (I don't believe the PCI was out then) but is supported with the
drivers within our file VIB3DS.ZIP in the ASOFT forum here. You should
download that file if you have the PCI Viper.
I don't know about the 3DS demo, or who to deal with on support. Sorry.
