I was able to get a fix for Brief, as soon as I logged in. Aparenly, Brief has
a memory conflict with Gateway 486/66 PC's. Fortunately, the the workaround was
to use DEBUG and took only a few minutes to accomplish.

I saw an ad for a competing editor to Brief the other day, they had a milk
carton with the Brief logo on it, it said "hasn't been seen since 1987."
Borland bought it and sunk it, I guess.

I just found Brief listed in Programmer's Shop for $89. Since I have become
attached to it at my former job, I think I'll bite the bullet.
