Artists Needed

Greg,
I am definitely interested in your call for 3-d artitsts. I would like some
more details on the length of the project(s)
and what the terms of compensation are. I currently live and work in Manhatten.
But if the work is interesting I would have no qualms about relocating. Look
forward to hearing back from you.

HI Max,
The lenght of the projects would probably be around 18 months or so. It's
taken us that long to seaQuest's first season, so I would imagine that it
will take that long to do another. We also have a 22 episode commitment
from NBC for Earth 2, which is why we nwwd more animators. We are looking
for traditional artists with a good working knowledge of 3D. Experience
with traditional media is a real plus. You can send your demo reel to
myself at:

Pay rates are negotiable and of course range with experience, and
payed as an employee of Universal Studios. A full health package
provided by the IA is also avialable after one recieves 300 hours.
Thanks for your response!
Greg,
My name is Deane Stillar, I'm using Richard's address to get more info
on the jobs you posted the other day. I'm interning at the Banff Center for the
Arts here in Banff, Canada. I'm more than a little interested in anyone of
these opportunities. If you would please send me any info you have about your
platforms and software along with a mailing address for a demo reel and resume.
I have a strong traditoinal art background mixed in with architechtural
and theatrical design. At the Banff Center the 3d modelling and animation I've
been doing on PCs, Macs, and SGIs has been mostly for video. Hope to here from
soon.
Deane
Hi Deane,
We use LightWave 3D as our primary software platform, although we are also
going to be getting SGI's running things like Power Animator and Parallax
from Matador.
You can send your demo reel and resume to:

Address the package to myself.
Hope to hear from you soon.
