IP 7.0

I think you goofed Ben, or I'm imagining things. The current IP up in DL6
is not version 7.0, but actually 6.16. I downloaded it twice since the
first one was corrupt, installed the new PIE modules, and tried to use it
from the new version of IP, or at least I thought it was the new version,
but it didn't work. Then I went into the Info panel, clicked on the version
button, and it came back with 6.16. So either you forgot to change the
version numbers and I was doing something wrong to keep the new PIE modules
from working, or you got mixed up with all the versions of IP on your Hard
drive 8^)

I'll reupload the new IP, then. Must have slipped up well and truly,
somewhere. Sorry about that.
I uploaded _something_ :^)

You don't suppose you could slip one into my Ham-E while it's being
repaired? 8^).. Also missing from that list of "PIE" flavors: support for
drawing pens in the paint section. I'd need the path of the most recent
mouse path, bitplanes, current colors, and a flag saying whether refresh
should be done. I'd really prefer working without automatic screen refresh
when painting. Version 8.0 or bust!!!

Slip one what, Henry? Sorry, I'm using Whap and one of it's major
shortcomings is that I can't see the previous messages offline.
There is a full group of ARexx tools for paint that we have on the list to
do, just didn't get there yet. We're working on something we think is real
hot for the next release… certain types of users will go nutz over it. No
hints, yet, though…. more testing to do.

I've been putting Arexx RVI stuff in Vapor paint and it's cool! the way to
go to stick complicated structers where Arexx cna get them! (for Arexx
coded procedures, that is..) F'rinstance, I can draw a line, hit a macro
button, and have the macro pick up the pins of the line and massage them,
and draw it's own thing (or put the poins in a file for some other
program… etc. ) What fun!

PS – the dangling referent in the previous message was referring to this
topic's title "IP 7.0" and the most recent version thereof. Oh Well. Hope
to see the ol' box in a few weeks or so.
Not using Whap at all.
