#Windows AVI output
3 messages in this thread
Does anyone know of a way to output animations to a Windows AVI file. The best
way that I can think of is to make BMP files and then create an AVI file from
them. The biggest problem with this approach is the intermediate disk space
requirements to store each frame as an uncompressed BMP.

You've got a couple of options. 1st, there is an IPAS somewhere which does
exactly that. I think the fella's who do I-Browse .. etc
. have it. Another way is to get a product like Razor Pro which will not only
covert sequential bitmap files into AVI, but offers you an interface like
VideoPost on Steriods with effects, transitions, sound, etc. A third option
would be to upgrade you AniPro to AniStud in a couple weeks (I assume you have
AniPro). AniStud (I love that abreviation <g>) will let you convert your
bitmaps into AVI and then paint and add CG … etc.
Lots of options. ..

Yech! I hope you're not considering the first part of the word to be a plural.
