The center of my world is 3D Studio. The center of my 2D world is Photoshop.

I just checked into the ADOBEAPP forum as I am new to Photoshop, been using
Pstyler. There are messages all over the place about Photoshop not being able
to support many features when run under WindowsNT vs Windows 3.1 or 3.11. Do
you know anything about these problems? From what I can gather channels become
limited in use and many plug-in filters are simply unavailable. I'm gonna keep
monitoring and gathering info, just wanted to find out if you knew the real
story on this one.

Robert,
A lot of software is going to have to be fixed for Win NT. Most have
an NT version in the works. I can't forsee Adobe allowing themselves to be
incompatable for very long. I run Photoshop 3.0 on Window F. W. G. and it is
great. I havn't changed that 486 to NT so I have never experienced any
problems. Check out the Adobe Forum (Go Adobe) and read some messages…any
problems will quickly surface there.

I just started using Photoshop 3.0 under WFWG and I agree it seems to work
great. I have been checking into the ADOBEAPP forum, its where I saw all of the
displeased NT user's messages. The one thing I can't seem to figure out in
Photoshop is how to print to fit a certain page size. It appears that I must
recalculate the pixel dimensions, what an inconvenience. In Pstyler I just
check the Print To Fit box and I'm good to go.

Bob,
I havn't tried print-to-fit. I have been running my print output
through Aldus Pagemaker 5.0. It is very savy about making things the right
size. Boy, these are great tools. And Adobe owns it all! I'm surprised they
don't have a 3
D product. They seem to have the money to buy one if they want it.
