#Authoring Software Help.

Hi,
Up and running now with 3Dstudio-DPS-PAR-IPAS-RAZOR-CD-RECORDABLE-ETC…., we
are now looking for a good authoring package to produce interactive programs.
Until now we tested Authorware Professional, and Illuminatus 2.1
Authorware Pro is a nice package but <g> very expensive HFl 20.000,= (US$
13.500) and Illuminatus is cheap, very userfriendly but… only handles 256
colors and cann't handle some things i need in my stuff.
Does someone in this forum have some experience with this kind of software.
Please lead me the way

You might also want to look into Macromedia Director. They have a free
"no save" CD. Call 1-800-326-2128

I would give Looking Glass Software's "Media Verse" product a close look.
It's a new product and getting ready to ship. They provide a side by side
comparison between MediaVerse (their product) and, Multimedia ToolBook,
AuthorWare, Visual Basic, Icon Author and Director.
It' "reads" very well and we are in the process of becoming a dealer for this
product because we were so impressed with the reports we got from their Beta'

Are you interested in doing interactive training (CBT) or entertainment
oriented programming?
Authorware 3.0 is incredible (and relatively easy to learn compared to
Director) for CBT (Icon Author is also excellent), but Director is THE industry
standard for creative interactive titles and responsible for nearly 70% of all
titles on the market.
