I just got LenZFX and I am having problems with Aura not outlining an image correctly. I've u/l'ed a sample file solid.jpg that shows the problem. It looks like a problem with the z-buffer.

LenzFX sometimes looks 'boxy', it seems that the objects bounding box becomes visible. I haven't seen your image… if you could perhaps provide more detail.

>>>LenzFX sometimes looks 'boxy', it seems that the objects bounding box becomes visible. I haven't seen your image… if you could perhaps provide more detail.<<< I was using by object as the masking method. I rendered the object seperately and used the alpha channel as a mask to achieve the effect I wanted. Now I am experimenting with the envelope settings. I rendered a value of 50% and it took 1:30 for one for one frame. You should be able to scale the envelope window so that the top value can be less than 100%. That would allow finer editing of the curve.

>>> You should be able to scale the envelope window<<< It takes some getting used to. I've found the 'create key' feature to work best for envelope control. You can resolve down to one frame so if you need to create an explosion (for instance) you can maintain a 'zero' level throughout the animation except for a spike. I find 'linear' work better than curve. There are a few peculiar things about LenzFX but it's certainly one hell of a good start wouldn't you agree ?

I figured out the mask, now I need to play with the envelopes. >>>There are a few peculiar things about LenzFX but it's certainly one hell of a good start wouldn't you agree ?<<< Yes it is a nice program. Hopefully the speed can be improved and the field rendering problem fixed. They have the Lumina upgrade for $95, I would rather see fixes to the problems before they ask for more money.
