#tiling granit and marble

Anyone know a good source for tiling textures for granite and marble? I need
good tiling maps, with decent variety and good detail.
Thanks to all

Have you looked into the SXPs from Mike White here on the forum? Good stuff…

Yea, it is on my list. I am going to need it for some stuff, since it will be
difficult to map any other way.
Tim–
Both the World Creating Toolkit (r3 & r4) and, especially, the Texture Universe
CD have a number of very high quality, high resolution, *tiling* maps of
granite and marble. The maps were photographed and retouched by Mike Spaw. You
can find the tiling maps easily by consulting the ascii file indexes on each
CD-ROM.

I check out the world creating toolkit, and it has four tiling textures. I
guess I will have to check out texture universe.
To add to what the others are saying, if you have Kai's KPT Version 2.0, you
can easily tile any map, in about 2 seconds. I've tiled many of the non-tiled
maps on the World CD and found them great. For around $100, I can't imagine
anyone into 3D not having this product (being a PhotoShop plug-in, it requires
a compatible program to use, but doesn't everyone have PS or some clone?).
I also suspect you can use the KPT texture explorer to create your own marble
and granite, but I haven't tried that (too much software, too little time!).
I have the KAI stuff on order, won't be here for a week or two, Getting it as a
bundle with some other software. I will look into it when it arrives. Thanks
for the info.

Way to much software. I think I need to have a setup like the big boys do, 2D
paint artist, 3D modeler person, video producer, etc. I just need to find an
extra $500K to run it each year.
