Steve, I noticed that you seemed knowledgeable on AmiTCP and PPP(Dialup). I am trying to get this up and running on my A3000 running OS3.1. I have a question about the infomation needed to setup AmiTCP. I also understand that the Compuserve connection is dynamic. I believe that the userid and groupid don't mean much since I am not on a network, but my own computer. I do need clarification on the internet address, the destination address, domain part, default gateway. I also need some help setting up dialup. I belive it is a tool to establish the modem connection to compuserve and the PPP service but I am a little unclear on how that is done. I have Amosaic installed and it appears to work based on the trial I did with the no net version. I have now installed the TCP/IP version. While I have done a lot of telecomunication and some work with TCP/IP on Novell networks at work, as far as setting up my Amiga to access the internet thru Compuserve I am a rookie.
