Hi Dale, Why doesn't IAM collect all this stuff together with some directions and an install script and produce an "Internet in a Box" (shrink wrap baggie?) type product for the Amiga??? There are several for the "other" computers. / / / //ANDRE

They'd have to become liscensed distributors for a number of packages which are currently available in one form or another more or less free for the using, so the package wouldn't be cost-competitive. And how many Amigan net-surfers are there, really, and of them, how many would buy such a product? But hopefully I'm wrong. Dale? Mr. Zombie

I just gave up on AMosaic and continue to access the internet through a text account on a local provider. Lots faster and MUCH less $$$. I have a friend with a Prodigy account, he just clicked a few buttons and Prodigy downloaded ALL the software and he was up and running! No Problemo! Oh Well, / / / //ANDRE

Actually, in my book I recommend that doing that is probably a better option for MANY people. "Internet in a Box" is a trademark of CompuServe, I don't think anyone would like to take on H&R Block over a trademark violation. -sja

Uh, obviously that was just an example, it could be called anything. i.e. "Internet in a Shrink Wrap Baggie for Amiga". The name "Internet in a Box" is actually owned by "Spry, Inc." NOT CompuServe. I'd think the licensing could be worked out since it would guarantee SOME revenue as opposed to the uncertainty of shareware fees being sent in. / / / //ANDRE
