Cannot get it to run (i.e. boot) on my AMIGA 2000/GVP030!

Try swapping the ROM chips if you haven't… although I think that was only a
problem for 3ks. Actually, this is a stupid question, but are the chips
oriented properly? Also, somewhere in the dim recesses of my memory there's
something about GVP boards… you might possibly have to yank the GVP board,
install the ROMs, then put the GVP board back in. But hopefully someone else
with a better memory will read this message and tell you what's *really* up.

I just returned the 3.1 ROM to my dealer, will get a new one soon.
There seem to be a lot of things about GVP boards – reading the AmigaVend Forum
– I tried to disable my accelerator but it would not work either.
So my only hope is the new ROM.

Disabling it via software? There are jumpers that have to be set to actually
can the accelerator.

boy what a mess for the user friendly Amiga. So maybe I should remove the GVP
030, reinstall the rom 3.1 then reinstall the gvp030? OH BOY maybe I'll
reinstall 2.1 at least everything worked!!! R.Krupka
Hmmm. If your GVP was working with 2.0, it should be OK with 3.1. You must
have a bad ROM.
