Does anyone know of a good FLIC player? We want to be able to write a script,
select which flics to play from the script using the keyboard, fade them in and
out etc., but with more flexibility than aniplay. We also need to play them
through a TARGA+ board. Any suggestions gratefully received.
Aniplay is about the most complete for scriping that is available, without
moving into a full authoring package. What scripting features do you want to do
that Aniplay won't let you?
Of course, Aniplay also lets you play right to your targa board. Not every
authoring package will let you do that. Make sure to check that out when
looking at authoring packages.

just a quickie on Aniplay… are you using keyscript (which allows selecting
the flics to play from the keyboard, fade them in and out, etc.)… can you be
specific about what you mean by "more flexibiliy"? aniplay also supports TARGA+
already. -dave
