'The Amiga C Manual' comes on the 5 Fish dishs you mention. You should be
aware that it unpacks into a series of 12 disks .. and that the information in
them does NOT contain any code beyond the Workbench 1.3 stage.
It may well have been subsequently updated. If so, you can contact the
author on this. If you'd rather get the name and address of the source rather
thatn grab those disks, let me know.

I dl'd the disks and I've _definitely_ seen some WB 2.0 stuff (At least it's
got an own chapter on 2.0…)!

Did you get a more recent set that those that were included in the Fish
disks? This goes back quite some time now, but I looked closely at several
areas for the new functions that had been added to various libraries with the
2.0 upgrade, and didn't see them. (Perhaps there was a 2.0 annex stuck in
separately somewhere?)
At the time, I thought those disks would be a useful way to pick up some of
the newer 2.0 techniques, since there are numerous coding examples. But I
didn't spot them.
If you DID find 2.0 material in the Fish posting, could you direct me to
where they are found? As I said, I looked and didn't see them. (If your set
is not from the Fish posting, then it's likely I won't see the 2.0 stuff
anyway).

I dl'd the 5-disk set from CI$ (AmigaTech, C Programming, CMAN1-5.LHA). Until
now, I've only had a quick look at it, and there was _something_ on WB 2.0 (the
whole thing is dated somewhere in 1992). I'll have a deeper look into it (12
disks!) to find out what's exactly in there about 2.0.

The Fish disk set, when uncompressed, requests a registration fee to be sent

The registration fee is shown as $60. That would assume that you have
unpacked the first 11 disks yourself, and just want disk 12 (plus becoming a
registered member).
But as I suggested, it might be well to write the above address and find out
about new releases of the package. The ReadMe file is dated May/92, and most
of the files are from 1992; since DOS 2 first emerged publicly in 1991 there
may have been too little time to include much 2.0 stuff. (But I believe the
Fish release came out in 1993, which made the information look a little dated,
at least to me).
If you find anything interesting from Bjeri on updates of his 'Encyclopedia'
package, you might post it here.

I have the RKM 2.0 source code, that is all the examples from the
books, not the OS. I don't know where I picked it up either, it may be
that it is from a developers kit or something and I shouldn't have it?? I
know I DL'd it from somewhere though. If you can't find it somewhere let
me know, I'll send it to you. It is rather large though.
Thanks for the offer, Matt, but that's OK. The RKM source code was put into
general circulation by CATS .. you'll find some of it on the Fish Disks, for
example, together with developer tools such as MungWall and Enforcer.
My comment was mostly directed to the "C Encyclopedia" collection that came
in the Fish group. I grabbed the five disks, dissolved them into 11/12 disks,
and went looking for certain 2.0 things (such as ExAll in the DOS library and
such). I didn't find them, and assumed 2.0 data was sparse or non-existent.
I might have missed a 2.0 annex or supplement or some other place to find the
data, but thought I'd post a caution here that I didn't find anything that was
post-1.3 (Hey, when you have 11 disks, you COULD miss stuff, too!).
Judging by ongoing postings here, there may be 2.0 stuff .. perhaps in a
revision of the disk set. Keep reading them.
The advantage of the set was that it contained many coding examples that
could be cut-and-pasted right into your own programs. Good idea, but I didn't
find the stuff I wanted, and so the set of disks got, ummm, archived.

Ok, I had a browse through all 12 disks. As you know this set (version 3.0) is
dated May 1992. At that time the author was still in the process of
implementing extensive 2.0 specific items which were to be made available "to
registered users". I gather from this that the set we have here was the last
'freely distributable' one and in order to get OS2.x specific code you/we'd
have to register.
