Hi Kenton, I tried to download using the Y-Modem Protocol and failed. Th screen just says eligal block header errors. I've even got the CServe QuickB library and that doesn't work either. The most anoying thing is when everything turns to gobeldygook after not working so I have to log off and on again. I think your going to have to spell it out to me , right down to the last stop bit when it comes to setting up NComm2.0 with CServe. Something else that's annoying is not being able to correct spelling while composing this online 🙂 Best Regards, Barrie R Scott 100555,2005

Have you tried using X-modem. I know it is slow but I will upload Ncomm3.0 to the forum under Communications. If possible, try to get it and see how it works. It is a newer version and is easily installed in your old Ncomm Directory. I remember having trouble using the Cserve-B and Quick-B protocols but was able to use Y-modem some of the time. Make sure that your settings are on 7-n-1 and , also, you have to initiate the download with a filename, as it is not automatic as on other BBS's. ….Via Autopilot and Gforce 040/33. // …Only Amiga makes it possible \\/

Just get Terminus. I have no problems with any of the Compuserve protocols when using Terminus and I have been very happy with the program. It's great!
