Hi, I've a good friend who wants to get into CompuServe on his amiga but doesn't have any access software. There is no CIM program that I know of. Can you please let me know if there are programs that he could use? Many Thanks 🙂 Scott T.

There is a navigator-program called AutoPilot in library 9 of the AmigaVendor forum (GO AMIGAVEND). The file is called AP.LHA. It is used by most Amiga-owners for accessing CIS. The prog you download is a demo-version. If you like it, you can register it online here on CompuServe ($69). To run it, your friend will need at least v2.04 of the AmigaOS, 3 Meg of Ram and a couple of Meg free harddisk- space. If you have any more questions about AP, it's best to post them in the AutoPilot-section (9) of the AmigaVendor-forum. A program for "browsing" CIS online (like WinCim or MacCim) is not available due to the fact that CompuServe refuse to release the necessary HMI-libs for writing such a beast. But a navigator-prog is much more cost-efficient anyway. Regards, Karl Van Hoyweghen on AP 1.80 from Belgium email: kvh@pophost.eunet.be
