I am trying to use the stars.ipx to create a star field that moves in the back ground. It looks like the manual says that if you animate your camera, the stars will move accordingly. Well I have the camera target linked to a dummy – which happens to be at the same location as the camera – and I am rotating the dummy. The target seems to follow it in the KF but when I render it, the stars don't move. Can anyone help?

Hi John, << Well I have the camera target linked to a dummy – which happens to be at the same location as the camera – and I am rotating the dummy. The target seems to follow it in the KF but when I render it, the stars don't move. >> I've just tested this here and everything works. The only time I was able to get the behavior that you describe is when the Stars.ixp is placed after the Keyframer scene in the Video Post queue. I tested it with no dummies and with the camera linked to a dummy and the target linked to another dummy. jonas[adesk]

How is video post set up? David Camp
