Hiya all… I'm importing motion capture data into 3DS with Schreiber's Puppeteer (and BTW having a tough time of it), and I need to sample the data down from 50 samples/second to 15/sec. The problem is that Time/Scale Segment doesn't work properly when there's a keyframe on every key. All it does is re-define the segment, not re-sample the # of keys. Is there a fix for this? Thanks ahead of time for any responses. Under a tight deadline !!!! Arrgh !!

I haven't tried it, but Ed Kellerman wrote a script (I believe the file is called keysca.zip) that does what you want, if I understand it. He just uploaded it a few weeks back. I recommend you take a look.

Writing a key script to chop out every other keyframe would be easy to do. LAM

Thanks to all for your responses. Am checking out Yost Tempo and Keyman, as well as Ed's Keyscript. Someone here also wrote a C++ routine for it… Eric @Mechadeus
