As far as I know they scanned real models and did additional modeling in
Alias. But the example in ASOFT is almost as good as Jurassic Park.

Oops. I read about metaballs in an article a long time ago and they had a dino
model that was done like that and they also mentioned JP, so I guess I just put
the two together.<g>
