What's the CDROM User Group?
The CD ROM USER GROUP is really what it implies.. It is a User Group run by 6
people for the purpose of providing, information and support to the end user of
CD technolg and products and also to act as an interface between the interested
parties in CD Technology/Software and its customers. The sole purpose is to
encourage a wide range of activities and debate on all things CD.
There will be an more in depth text file posted in the next 24 hours..Look out
for it
I think there's a guy named Fred in California with a group by the same name…
are you related to that CD User Group?
There is no relationship with CD Rom User Group (UK) and Fred Bellomy of the CD
Rom User Group in the US, other than similarity in name.
CRUG (to keep it short) is UK based, serving the UK, although plans are afoot
for a Euro Group, which will be co-ordinated by Euro CRUG from the UK.
Sheesh! that all sounds like a mouth full, but I think you will get my drift

The guy in California (I think) that you are referring to is a very
knowledgable person in Santa Barbara named Fred Bellamy. His group is called
CD-ROM Users Group and they have a great CD disc named Giga-ROM with all sorts
of CD-ROM test software and shareware programs that equal a gigabyte of data. I
think they are listed in the phone book.
