Personally I look forward to the day they quit packing basic with micros.
I think Logo would be a better choice. I thought that day had come with the
Intro of the Mac and lo and behold NO BASIC, but old habits are hard to
break and of course CBM and Atari had to release bastardized versions
tailored to thier own machines…hank……………

What's so bad about Logo? Have you ever SERIOUSLY programmed in it? Or are
you just denigrating it because you saw it on Phil Donahue? It's very
powerful. And it is a good teacher for young people – I had nine-year olds
grasping the concept of parameter passing and procedures within minutes of
introduction to Logo. There isn't much in Lisp that isn't in Logo.
