This is strange behavior. I haven't run into a situation where this
occurred. Maybe you thought you told is to restore archive bits, but
actually didn't. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I the problem of the archive bits not being set a couple of times too.
I'm not sure if I was running 4.2 or 4.3. I know I had set the switch to
tell it to set the archive bits though.
But the next time I did a backup everything worked fine.

Mark,
This (not setting archive bits) could be the problem I reported to you
where a "bounce" in the mouse button switch activated the abort gadget
which has the same position on the screen as the continue gadget. If so
the new interface should solve the problem in V5.0. I know that this
problem bites me in about 1/5th of the backups I do.
