#C-64 Hard Drive

I know that many users here have or have had C-64s. A friend asked if there
were any Hard Disk systems availible for the C-64. I am pretty sure that I
have heard people here mention such systems and wondered if anyone can
recommend one (and yes I have tried to talk him into an AMI but he is using the
C-64 as a dedicated system, cost would not be justified). Thanks.

Gives 100 times the speed of a 1541 for loading, and is quite transparent, has
a feature where you can put protected software on the HD (It is not broken, as
it can ony be run on the HD after that and not on a floppy) and is supposed to
sell for $899 for 20 Meg.
I have one and it is neat.

Bill… my friend runs a bbs using 2 9090 7.5 meg hard drives by CBM, and a
Data Chi0 megger he also sells em.. if youild like the MOST info on these
drives call him on his bbs at 914-668-3664.. the 9090's are FAST! and
reliable.. the Data Chief is slower but has more storgae space..
