BUG #1

I say again, use friction feed. I've used the lousy 1.2 drivers on an
Epson and gotten rid of the problem that way. If memory serves me right,
there is a FOOLISH option in the Epson printers that allows them to use only
7 pins per sweep (something about the old apples not being able to send 8
bits/byte to a printer). If that is the case, then I think you have to set
the preferences to 'custom' paper size, or change the switch setting on the
inside of the printer to allow it to see all 8 bits/byte.
I believe with 1.3 setting Preferences to "Custom" paper size does not do the
trick. You must now set the Paper Type to "Single" (rather than "Fanfold")
to get the desired result. Yes, there were reasons for switching this
semi-documented kludge. BTW, this is discussed in ProWrite's manual, in the
appendix on Printers (at the end).

Great, I'll read the manual as soon as my copy shows up (nudge).
Sometime I'd like to hear the 'reasons', mayhaps over a beer or two at
AmiExpo LA in October.
