Talk to CBM, not to me. CBM runs their technical developer support on BIX.
I know – you only provide the terrorists with cash… it's not *your* fault
that they buy weapons and bombs with it, is it? It is, once you have seen a
bombing. And I do talk to CBM, those that show up here – and I understand
from conversations at AmiExpo that BIX may not be CBM's haven forever. I
hope so. It would happen sooner if developers would quit funding Byte to
beat on us. –Ben–
I pay BIX nada. CBM's developer support is on BIX. So complain to CBM not
to me …. CBM's amiga.dev special section is where the IFF dicussions take
place.
If you, as an isolated case, pay BIX nada, then that's nice – for you. If
no developers were on BIX, then no discussions would take place there,
period. CBM would be talking to itself, and would leave. The fact that you
(and any other developer) is on BIX encourages others to do so, instead of
the opposite. and I'm not complaining. I'm simply pointing out that you,
and anyone else who works with/on BIX is providing a push agianst the
Amiga instead of for it. If you can live with that, whatever your self
justification may be, then so be it. –Ben–
