I'd like to make a list of all working '286 and '386 accelerators for the bridgeboard. I'll keep all replies and make a "report" at the end listing the results. Come on, give me those comments. PC/Elevator '386 yes, Inboard '386 no. Got that much. What else… — Ethan

Ethan, Orchid 286e works, Orchid Tiny Turbo doesn't. Don

Hi Don, Say, I just remembered something I heard from a friend of mine who works at a dealer down the road a bit. They apparently got an accelerator board from Tallgrass Technologies to work with the Bridge. There was a trick to it however. Something about it not being real clear how you plugged it into the BB (with a cable to chip socket I assume) and if you get it wrong, it fries the accelerator. They finally figured it out though. I'll get some more info. and upload it. Just thought you'd be interested. Ah right, the bottom line is the card is only in the $550 range (much better than the 286e) but of of course doesn't have any memory (as the 286e does I understand). Take Care…. Kevin

Kevin, Yes…I'd be interested in that information…if you can get it, I'd appreciate it. Don

I think we should also take note of the system the board was tested on. As I said somewhere else, the AST Hotshot ran in a A2000 with 1.2 Roms but NOT with 1.3 ROMS. Unless something else is queer about my machine…
