I was totally unaware of the whole PTI thing until tonight!! Did they make an attempt to contact registered M2S owners? (if so I was missed). Seems like if the new company was serious about supporting, growing (and profitting by) their product, they would contact the user base, perhaps hav ing a low-pried deal for some set of utilities/modules/upgrades to test the level of continued interest of the user base. If, as you maintain, ther are only 300 of us out here, contacting us should be cheap. SInce M2S is now selling in some of the mail order houses, a satisfied (albeit small) user base would seem to be in order. My reading of the messages so far is of a user base that feels disenfanchised, unwanted and like they are unwitting sacrifices to "sound business decisions". BTW, Where is PTI and how does one contact them? (SInce they seem disinterested in introducing themselves to me, maybe I'll introduce myself to them. Then I'll decide it its time for the dreaded move to C for self preservation…"sound personal decision".;^) ) wmc

Wayne: PTI has not contacted registered M2Sprint users formally. The reason for this is quite simple, we don't have anything important to communicate to the users at this time. When we have something to offer the users we will announce it. Anyone who sent mail to M2S or telephoned gets connected to PTI, so there is no problem in that respect. Your statement about "unwitting sacrifices" does not make much sense, maybe you can give me a call in person and explain what you mean. If you would like to get in touch with me, here is the info: Preferred Technologies, Inc. 14540 East Beltwood Parkway Dallas, Texas 75244 Tel: (214) 702-9191 Fax: (214) 702-9203 BTW, we are primarily concentrating on building hardware products with a few well selected software titles in the works. >> Leon Frenkel <<

Leon, Thank you for that reply to Wayne, he obviously expressed himself more clearly than I did. That information, including the contact address, is really all I needed at this point.
