Help! Does anyone know what has happened to A-Squared Distributions Inc? They are the makers of LIVE!, a video digitizing card. I sent one in for repair and have not heard from them since. I've tried by phone but only get an answering machine and no responce. I desperately want my live 2000 card back. I would appreciate any leads. Bruce Munies * * : v

Don't worry too much… They still exist… It's a small company by anyone's standards so the answering machine is really no suprise. Be patient. Jim Joslin AmiComp Computer Center (Oviedo, Fl)

Is this the same A-Squared that does Art of Go? If so, I have had a problem with AOG, and called them. They called back the same day and left an answer on my answering machine. I returned the defective disk and they sent me a new one. I am quite impressed with their courtisy and promptness. Gold star for service (but not for the ability of the game to play Go).

Bill, I sent them a check (which they cashed) for the requested $5.00 for the beat version of Live! . It never arrived and they've ignored my request for another copy of the disk. In fact they won't return my messages on their machine. I was never ignorant to them but they sure are a couple of bums. If I ever run across them at a show I'm sure I'll belittle their tech support and their company in front of as many possible A-squared Distribution customers as possible! I did finally get the disk, from a forum member and guess what? The dern thing won't recognize my Live! board as being active! It's garbage! They've turned into the biggest JOKE as far as I'm concerned, I wouldn't buy another product from them even if it was going to be the Video Toaster (which is NOT being distributed by them)! chris AT&G

I guess we all run into problems at times. I have had a similar problem with Intuitive technologies over Ultracard. In my case, they didn't send me my update until I sent a registered letter threating to start legal action. My experiance with A-squared has been good. I hope they will correct your problem. If not, try the registered mail route. It does get attention.

I wish registered-mail legal threats worked as well against Computer Mart! They casually ignored mine. Now I'm having to go through all sorts of other channels! NEVER BUY FROM COMPUTER MART!!!
