Could you advise on the compatibility of the Francis/Lucus board and the
Rejuvenator? I have been told when I ordered one, that it works fine with
the Lucas board but have not been able to get advise on the Francis. Also
could you supply any info on the order in which the Lucas/Francis and
Rejuvenator boards are installed and if all fits with the cover on (except
of course without the flickerfixer inside)? Any details would be greatly
appreciated as UPS just called with my order.

Ron,
I think you got some bad info. Right now, Lucas may have problems because
my PALs are too fast (12 nsec versus 25 to 35 nsec). I will be announcing a
fix for LUCAS (probably adding a capacator) sometime in the future, but
haven't done so right now. The problem with Frances is it will have a space
conflict with any use of the video slot. Expert will have an adapter that
lets you build your own cable that fits the video slot card outside the
case, but that won't be ready for a month.
The problem I had with LUCAS is that I couldn't find a 7474 slow enough to
work( faster PAL means a slower 7474 is needed). You might be able to
change crystals and get teh timing to match up. But I was comparing a
function stock A1000 that was 'calibrated' and working with LUCAS to a
Rejuvenated A1000. The best I could do was a flashing LED and that was with
the slowest 7474 I could find.
I'll see Expert gets the compatability issue straightened out.
