G'day Cheryl,Talking about things that are going to break under 2.0,have
you heard the rumour that all MANX 'c' programs are likely to fall over due
to something weird in the way MANX works???
Should be interesting to see if these rumours are remotely true,as there
must be a fair bit of software that is written in MANX 'c'.

Nope I hadn't heard that rumor. As you say, it should be interesting to
see how close the rumors come to reality when all is said and done. In the
meantime, I'm taking a wait and see attitude. Wait til it's official and
then see what the truth is.

Hi ya Cheryl,well as I said it is only a rumour,but it certainly will cause
problems if it is half true. I hope it isn't though.
Yup,we will all have to take that same wait and see approach,and just hope
this rumour is just that.

Well I write code in Manx C all the time, and I have run my software just
find under 2.0, it appears that I am following the rules well enough!

Hi Mark,well as I said,it is just a unsubstantiated rumour,but crikey if
there is any truth in this rumour there is going to be a lot of broken
software.
