Are you aware of any other cartridges for the H.P. Deskjet Plus that are
not black? Someone mentioned the availability of color ink carts, but I
haven't been able to find out anything.

No idea…I don't have a Deskjet…so have no idea what's available
for it.
I do know this…HP also makes a PaintJet that does use colored
ink, but if the cartridges will fit a Deskjet or not…I just don't konw.

The ink cartridges are NOT interchangable. I have a PaintJet, and used to
have a DeskJet, and the only thing I've ever heard of colors other than
black for the DJ was on the HP Forum, where several people were discussing
refilling DJ Cartridges with other brands of ink.
